In December 2005 Paul was sent to a State Mental Hospital in Provo Utah. He's supposed to be incompetent for claiming that one can fuel a car with mostly water using his system. In Utah, if you fall out with your attorney and become reluctant to work with them, then under Code 77-15-5 you can be said to have a delusional or paranoid mental disorder. The state can then forcibly order the use of powerful drugs.

Despite the direct order of Judge Royal Hanson, Paul is being denied phone and visitation rights to even his friends who have power of attorney. He has a new Attorney, and even though the Public Defender has pled to be released from the case, the Judge won't allow him to represent Paul.

In the year 2000 some financial irregularities seem to have taken place. Pantone was advised by a Lawyer partner to issue new (bogus) GEET corp stock certificates. The Lawyer then went to the Attorney General to entrap Paul by claiming that he had instigated the securities fraud.

If Paul Pantone is found guilty of a felony charge he may well lose all patent rights to GEET.
