am amazed by the 'ABLE DANGER' story. A
quality intelligence operation using data
mining techniques, that identified the lead
terrorist, Mohamed Atta, at least a year before
9/11. It would appear that a lawyer for the defense department ordered
ABLE DANGER to destroy all of their evidence.
Subsequently, officials that saw some of this
information seem to have suffered from memory
loss.
Promis, a 'data mining' tool with the ability to track the movements of vast numbers of people, was also indirectly sold to Bin Laden by former FBI Agent Robert Hanssen. However, with the CIA created 'back door' in this software it is a surprise that as of late 2006, Bin Laden's back office in Islamabad is still operational.
It is troubling to learn that the Bush Administration knew the Whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden , without taking action. That's on Sept 12, 2001. The same day that FBI Agent Ali Soufan realized that the C.I.A. had known for more than a YEAR A hALF that two of the hijackers were in the country. August 22, 2007. It is Declassified that 60 officers in the CIA had seen cables indicating two Al Qaeda operatives had entered the US. The report concludes that "the U.S. intelligence community lacked any "documented, comprehensive" approach to Al Qaeda in the years before (or AFTER it would seem) Sept. 11, 2001. It is interesting to note that Ali's boss,John O'Neil, head of the National Security Division, left the FBI in August 2001 [due to 'Friction' with the management'] to become head of security at the World Trade Center. He died on 9/11, his second day in the new job.
Memo from Special Agent Coleen M. Rowley to FBI Director Robert Mueller, alleges that the Minneapolis agents became so frustrated that they began to joke that FBI headquarters was becoming an "unwitting accomplice" to Osama bin Laden's efforts to attack the United States.
However, The most telling part of this story for me, is a reported conversation during March 2001 between Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer and his then DIA commanding officer, Major General Rod Isler.
"I’m the two star here; I’m telling you I don’t want you doing anything with Able Danger.”
“[with respect] Sir, if not us then who?”
“I don’t know, but it’s not your job.”

Robin Hordon, A former air traffic Controller knew within hours that a change to the emergency aircraft handling protocol that day suggested that 9/11 was an inside job. Several of the aircraft were flown using remote flight control systems that are fitted to Boeing aircraft to counter Hijacking. So where did Flight 77 go ?
